We are all about accessibility, accessibility for the disabled to a seat at our nation’s digital table as well as to provide pathways to successful re-entry for the incarcerated. We will work hard and smart to include both in our country’s future.
Working for us full-time are over a dozen inmates at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility, Oregon’s only state prison for women. We have 12 analysts that have completed a demanding six month training program through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). They’ve earned their Trusted Tester certificates through the DHS Office of Accessible Systems & Technology.
Driving this is my personal experience with the limitless talent available in our prisons, and the work ethic of a person driven by a second chance.-Peter Shikli
